John Scott Dryden
Director & Executive Producer

John Dryden is a writer, director and executive producer. He created the fiction podcast PASSENGER LIST, a mystery thriller about a plane that disappears mid-flight between London and New York, and the historical fantasy series TUMANBAY which has run for four series. He has written and directed many audio drama series for the BBC including the thrillers SEVERED THREADS, A KIDNAPPING, PANDEMIC and THE RELUCTANT SPY. He has also dramatised and directed for BBC Radio 4 a Sony Award winning dramatization of Charles Dickens' BLEAK HOUSE, Margaret Atwood’s THE HANDMAID’S TALE and Vikram Seth's A SUITABLE BOY.

Ayeesha Menon
Director & Executive Producer

Ayeesha Menon is an award winning writer and creator for stage, film and radio. Her modern-day adaptation of A TALE OF TWO CITIES won Best Adaptation and her MIDNIGHT'S CHILDREN won the Outstanding Achievement award at the BBC Audio Drama Awards.  Other audio fiction work includes A FINE BALANCE, THE SEVENTH TEST and THE MUMBAI CHUZZLEWITS. Her audio adaptation of Vikas Swarup's best-selling novel Q&A (aka SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE) and Naguib Mafouz's THE CAIRO TRILOGY each won Best Drama at the Sony Radio Awards. Ayeesha work for BBC Radio 4 includes the original drama INTO THE MAZE and three series of the Indian police detective series UNDERCOVER MUMBAI. She wrote the script for the India feature film THE WHITE ELEPHANT and her play PEREIRA'S BAKERY AT 76 CHAPEL ROAD opened at Prithvi Theatre, Mumbai and also had a reading at the Royal Court Theatre in London. Ayeesha is currently working on a play for the National Theatre.

Emma Hearn
Director of Productions

Emma is a producer whose work includes the award-winning fiction podcasts TUMANBAY and PASSENGER LIST. She is currently Producing a major science fiction podcast for BBC Sounds, THE CIPHER, to be released in 2021. She also has a long track record of producing successful audio drama for BBC Radio 4. Recent work includes  SOMEONE DANGEROUS, MY FRIEND MARIE ANTOINETTE, A SCHOOL DRAMA and A GREEK DRAMA. Emma also works for Audible Studios UK as Director and Producer on Audible Original Drama and previously worked for BBC Audio Drama, London.

 

Andy Goddard
Senior Producer

Andy Goddard is a director, sound designer and producer. He has produced and directed the award winning hit comedy drama podcast WOODEN OVERCOATS. He has produced and directed various drama and comedy shows including THE SINK by Natasha Hodgson for BBC Sounds,  ZOETROPE by Chris Brandon for Audible featuring Daisy Ridley and Jason Tobin as it’s leads and TECH TECH BOOM with Olga Koch & Huge Davies for BBC Sounds. He has also produced several comedy formats including LATE NIGHT MASH THE PODCAST (YES, WE’VE GOT ONE TOO) with Olga Koch and Geoff Norcott (Dave Original Podcast), HYPOTHETICAL THE PODCAST with James Acaster and Josh Widdecombe (Dave Original Podcast), and Andy Zaltzman’s GOATS a history comedy panel show for Audible.

Nadir Khan
Executive Producer

Nadir is a director, actor and producer and has produced numerous award-winning productions for Goldhawk including TUMANBAY, A FINE BALANCE, UNDERCOVER MUMBAI, A KIDNAPPING, A SUITABLE BOY, THE SEVENTH TEST and Q&A (SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE). Nadir is also a leading Indian theatre director working mostly in Mumbai. His most recent directorial credits include Aaron Sorkin’s A FEW GOOD MEN and Rahul DaCunha / Bugs Bhargava Krishna’s SING INDIA SING - an Original Indian Musical,  Carl Miller’s ANAND EXPRESS, Reginald Rose’s TWELVE ANGRY JURORS and Yasmina Reza’s THE GOD OF CARNAGE.

India Rakusen
Producer

India is a journalist, podcaster and film make and is series producer on our new ten-part podcast THE HIJACK to be released by Audible in 2021. India was the Co-Host and Senior Producer of the Guardian's daily podcast TODAY IN FOCUS from its launch. She has also recently been a producer on the MOTHERS OF INVENTION podcast. She has worked with BBC Radio 4, BBC Three, BBC News documentaries, BBC World Service and 6Music. She was also senior producer and presenter of LIKE MINDS for BBC Stories.
